Born and raised in the GL5 postcode explains why Dubbu's love for Stroud runs so deep. Having spent his formative years experiencing his parents love for music it was certain that it would feature so heavily in his future. HipHop has always been a mainstay in his musical life and it's where musically his heart lies, although Funk, Soul, Reggae & Jazz feature heavily in his sets, he’s been rocking party's all over the country and Stroud for the last 25 years+ most notably SGVC, Stroud Block Party, Latitude Festival, Tramlines Festival, Jazz Stroud.

Using vinyl records has always been a big part of the Dubbu experience, and he continues to Dj all over the SouthWest on a weekly basis. In the last few years Dubbu has created a new summer event which concentrates on bringing the community together, The Sunset Sessions, a popular free outdoor gathering that’s directly linked to the early 90’s rave scene that happened in the same place on the local commons.
