Daniel Inzani is a composer, pianist and band leader based in Stroud.  After years of recording, touring and eclectic composing he has gathered a trusted set of musicians who are both skilled improvisers and virtuoso players to record a large new body of work for release under his own name: Selected Worlds, Daniel Inzani’s debut triple vinyl album, co-released by Hidden Notes Records and Tardigrade Records in Sept 2024. This event is also to celebrate the release of Tezeta’s brilliant debut lp Seventh Place on Klang Tone Records! 

Combining leftfield electronica, techno & breakbeats with enveloping sonic landscapes and evocative composition, UK-based newcomer Sam Judd draws from a library of sounds collected all over the world to produce an experience that’s just as deeply sentimental as it is made for the dancefloor.

Bristol-based Reggae label 'Poor Man's Friend' will be bringing their sound system to the Goods Shed along with their extended family for a night of Reggae music from across different decades played in a Rub A Dub authentic sound system style.

DJ Ross Lily of DISCO SUCKS will be gracing the decks at 4 John Street from 12-3pm on Sunday to gently cajole you into another day of Jazz-adjacent goodness.

Accompanied by a powerful brass section, electronic synth layers and an all-female choir (The Sounds of Joy), Alogte Oho takes his listeners on a journey like no other – lilting from low slung reggae based numbers to upbeat songs based around traditional Ghanaian music, soul and funk. Afriquoi are an underground sensation, bringing an uplifting fusion of African music and live electronics.

Once the Carnival parade lands at the Goods Shed we will open the bar up for an afternoon cocktails and a DJ set with Joicey DJ Collective. Joicey is an SVA led project which provides DJ skills, training and peer to peer support for women and transgender people in Stroud and Gloucester.

Fresh off the back of their 2nd birthday in Bristol, Analogue Lounge takes over The Goods Shed. Brought to life by SpaceJams and The Brakery Collective, the night blends open jam sessions, deep vinyl selections, immersive set design and a community feel that’s made it a cornerstone of the Bristol music scene.

DJ Ross Lily of DISCO SUCKS will be spinning some tunes at 4 John Street from 6-9pm on Friday to warm us all up for a weekend of Jazz-adjacent joy!

The new electronic jazz improvisation session returns for a special Jazz Stroud addition in the round at the Goods Shed including special guests for a night of spontaneous improvised electronic jazz fusion. 

Led by award-winning bass guitarist and effects pedalboard maestro Mike Flynn the Unfurl session explores spacious soundscapes, bass lines and flowing beats, mixing jazz, electronica, broken beats, spoken poetry and vocals.

Roi Geyari is a Gloucestershire jazz guitarist influenced the classic styles of swing and bebop. Joined by bassist Magnus Williams, the duo plays inspired interpretations of the classic standards and personal selections.
