Fusing together elements of jazz, hip-hop and future soul, six-piece Bristol collective Laimu harness carefully crafted arrangements led by sultry vocals. Hovering somewhere between quirky funk records from the 70s, and the ever evolving soundscapes of hometown Bristol, this musical outfit have honed their signature sound to deliver an innovative reflection of their influences. Toting support from the likes of Jazz FM, Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM and BBC Introducing on their first two singles 'Fruit' and 'Barefoot', Laimu have carved a reputation for themselves within the UK live scene and they have their sights set on raising the bar in 2019.
